About Us

Darcy Anderson Kline
Founder, Owner, Director
Supportive Outings & Services Inc. soscaregiver.ca
In 2005, with her combined experience of 16 years in the field of working with Developmentally Delayed Seniors, Darcy decided to start her own organization for health challenged Seniors and Adults. A goal was to support both the clients and their families, or agency caregivers. Having many hours of experience being involved with the disability arts program, volunteering with Meals on Wheels, completing a Medication Administration course, Sighted Guide course from the CNIB, and receiving her class 2 driver license, as well as training on the safety of transporting passengers; Darcy felt qualified to provide support to many people. Quickly receiving clients, her agency Supportive Outings and Services Inc (SOS) was started, growing slowly, but steadily.
Our Mission is to ensure that the client feels secure and comfortable when they are in-home or venturing into unfamiliar or previously difficult territory.

In her work with clients at care residences and with clients around the city, Darcy set an impeccable standard of service. She was hands on in all aspects, growing her business through a careful interview & intake process for both staff and clients. Darcy personally trained and oriented all caregivers of SOS. In late 2023, Darcy hired & oriented Emily and Matt to the business, with the goal of collaborating and widening the reach and scope of Supportive Outings & Services Inc.

Following her unexpected passing in October of 2024, Darcy's team of outstanding caregivers with support of Emily & Matt, continued running the business in cooperation with Darcy's family. In April 2025, SOS Inc. transitioned the staff and clients to "Better Together YYC" to allow the continued operations, employment and outstanding service delivery.
